Gil Burstiner is an expert in acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing for retail, office, and industrial properties. He represents retail developers in shopping center development around the Southeast. He also frequently works with lending clients in all types of real estate transactions, including foreclosures and REO property transactions. Gil has been integral within Hartman Simons in identifying and defining the real estate components of multi-state asset purchase transactions and corporate reorganizations.
Representative Experience
- Represented The Ardent Cos. in the purchase of staggered portfolio purchase of the buildings at Piedmont Center
- Represents developers, retailers and lenders in development and lease transactions across the country, involving all real estate product types
- Represents clients in transactions involving acquisition financing by conduit and non-conduit lenders
- Has worked with national and regional retail tenants in ground lease/development transactions
- Works frequently on bulk sales transactions involving disposition of debt and assets for institutional lending clients and buyers throughout the Southeast
- Represents landlords and tenants in office, retail and industrial lease transactions and asset management matters
- Has worked with institutional lending clients for a range of real estate lending transactions, including foreclosures, workouts and REO property transactions
