SUMMARY

Todd H. Surden is a real estate and business litigation attorney who represents business owners, landlords, property managers, investors, lenders, and debt buyers in a variety of matters.  Todd has extensive experience enforcing creditor’s and lienholder’s rights, whether in commercial litigation, through foreclosure, or in bankruptcy court, litigating real estate disputes and claims, including quiet title actions, boundary disputes, and easement issues, pursuing landlord-tenant matters, and defending condemnation and municipal code enforcement claims.  Todd’s real estate and commercial litigation experience has made him well-versed in collateral recovery, debt collection, real estate title, insurance issues, including coverage disputes, and regulatory compliance matters in the banking industry.  Todd is focused on achieving creative, cost-effective solutions for his clients, whether through litigation or otherwise.

Todd is an active member of Congregation Etz Chaim in Marietta, having served as the congregational president.  He is a member of the Board of Directors of Jewish Family & Career Services of Atlanta.  He was named as one of the Atlanta Jewish Times 40 Under 40 Jewish leaders in 2014, is involved in the Atlanta Black-Jewish Coalition, and was Secretary of the Cobb County Bar Association, Young Lawyers Division. 

Todd has presented at continuing education seminars on matters involving real estate and foreclosure and his articles have been published in For the Defense and Equipment Leasing News

Todd graduated cum laude from the Villanova University School of Law and received Bachelor’s degrees from Columbia University in New York and the Jewish Theological Seminary as part of a dual-degree program.  He is admitted to practice law in Georgia, Pennsylvania (inactive), and New Jersey (inactive).
