Summary
Jeremy Cohen has extensive commercial real estate experience including the acquisition, refinancing and redevelopment of shopping centers, apartments, and raw land developments, representing national and local tenants, landlords, retailers, and developers across the country. He specializes in handling all aspects of commercial real estate development, from site identification, predevelopment activities, due diligence and acquisition to financing, leasing, and, ultimately, sale. He has also worked with several startup companies in providing general business advice.

Representative Experience
- Drafted and negotiated legal formation, investment agreements and equity option agreements for various start-up companies.
- Actively negotiated and drafted all types of leases (including retail, office, and industrial leases from both the landlord and tenant’s perspective), licensing agreements, development agreements, reciprocal easement and operation agreements, and joint venture and partnership agreements.
- Extensive experience in reviewing all matters affecting title to property, including reviewing boundary and ALTA/ACSM surveys as well as well as negotiating with national utility companies and governmental agencies for the granting and release of necessary easements.
- Facilitated the development of more than 5 million square feet of retail projects throughout the United States.
