Bill has extensive commercial real estate experience in development, acquisition and disposition of retail shopping centers throughout the United States. He specializes in
the development of unimproved property for commercial use, as well as the redevelopment of commercial property for complex mixed-use projects.

Representative Experience

  • Served as vice president and associate general counsel for Weingarten Realty Investors, a publicly traded REIT
  • Involved in development and redevelopment of commercial property, including negotiation of purchase and sale agreements, development agreements, reciprocal easement agreements and resolution of title and survey issues

Fun Stuff

Recently relocated from Houston to Dallas, Texas, Bill is married with two adult children. The father of a Special Olympics athlete, Bill has been actively involved in the Special Olympics including coaching Team Texas Volleyball at the National Games for Special Olympics, serving as a unified partner for the Special Olympics and participating several times in the Special Olympics National Invitational Golf Tournament. He served as co-chair of the Special Olympics Committee of the Houston Bar Association.
